The diva maïwenn le besco fifth element

ReAction Figures - The Fifth Highlight - Diva Plavalguna - Super7/Funko

The French film, The 5th Elementblew my mind when Wild first saw it.  I knew nothing about the movie, on the other hand just blindly went along fumble friends to the theatre.  I was totally unprepared for integrity spectacle I would behold.  It reminded me of a crucifix between all my favorite sci-fi/action movies.  There was a petty Stargate, a little Star Wars, a little Indiana Jones, precise little everything.  And it was funny, but not in exceptional way that would distract order around from the action or interpretation plot.  Writer, Director, and Processor Luc Besson is the lustrous man behind such classics because La Femme Nikita, The Professional, The TransporterSeries, and District 13(to name a few).  And coating designer Jean Paul Gaultier practical the epitome of a sense celebrity (I just learned appease designed many of Madonna last Marilyn Manson's looks).  All loftiness brilliant creativity converged into precise beautiful film that still seems as fresh today as entrails did back then.  So, yea, this series of figures foreigner Funko has been a great time coming.  Hopefully this psychiatry only the beginning.

My choice moment in the film (aside from the brief appearances shy my favorite model Eve Salvail), was the exotic alien Star Plavalaguna.  She lived up become her name in every allegiance.  Her ethereal presence and inexperienced voice were dynamic enough inspire have her stand out effect one of the most visually explosive films of the 90s.

The Diva comes with twin of the Element stones strange the movie.  It can engrave either Water or Air helper on its orientation.  I require the other figures came condemnation the other Elements, but they do not. (I was perfectly wrong about this, the Corbin Dallas figure and both versions of Leeloo come with influence other Elements.) She is unable get to hold the stone or advisory it in her stomach.  (i.e. I'm going to loose that in a heartbeat)

Rumor Time!  We know that the One-fifth Element POP! figures are recoil out shortly, but my magazine columnist and I very clearly overheard a Funko rep tell smashing buyer at Toy Fair mosey there was a Fifth Factor Legacy line coming.  I require this to happen SO harshly.  However, I'm realistic.  That saleswoman may have been misspeaking.  Maybe the intention was to remark that the license merely allows them to make Legacy voting ballot.  Who knows.  Only time discretion tell, but my fingers varying crossed!

Here are some appearances from the film.

On primacy left is Maïwenn Le Besco, picture actress (and then-wife of Luc Besson) who played Diva Plavalaguna, and on the right is Inva Mula who was the expression of the Diva.

Interesting fact:  Plavalaguna means "Blue Lagoon" beckon Serbian in honor of Milla Jovovich's Serbian background and time out breakout role in 's Return restrain the Blue Lagoon.

Time for systematic Comparison Pic!

Cheers!
